Used Farrier F-9R 31 foot (9.4m) x 6.84m beam, or 2.5m folded. Note: the "R" stands for racing model or lots of carbon. Professional builder in N.Z. launched Sept 2008. This has got to be one of the TOP Farriers we have seen. Beautifully built keeping it VERY light. Using foam, epoxy, carbon & e-glass. Has carbon mast & boom. Painted in high tech International series 900, with custom signage & paint job. Latest Ronstan deck gear, Anderson winches Sails from Quantum, main is tecnora, moulded No.1 carbon mylar, No.2 carbon mylar, jib brand new, fractional gennaker, main sail cover, all rigging is dynex (no s/s) halyards spectra, dynex, kevlar. Tramps are lumite, full set of interior squabs, 2 burner gas cooker, alloy gas bottle, chemical toilet, L.E.D. lights, VHF radio, chartplotter, fire extn, Vessel has been in Cat3. The stern has been lenghthend out 200mm to form a step beside the rudder. The designer Ian Farrier thought it was a great idea Alloy fortress anchor, 8 HP Mercury o/board motor, tote tanks, infl dinghy Tandem axle galv trailer. (not road rego or w.o.f. at present. (has been stored on Yacht Club 'hard' stand only) This Farrier is in excellent order and has never been left in the water.
